My time at Western has been absolutely amazing and really was one of the main factors in shaping who I am today. The friends that I have made and teachers I have learned from have all contributed to making me who I am today. I love this community and everything they have done for me and my family. I couldn’t have asked for a more loving, diligent, and God centered community than the one I grew up in. 10/10 would recommend Western.

Hi friends!! I’m Alexis Pearson. I’m involved in ASB, Hilltop Faith choir, and basketball at WCHS. I’ve been very fortunate, having gone to Christian schools since I was about 2 years old. I came to WCHS in 9th grade, and I’m fortunate to have gone to a Christian high school, as I believe a person develops their worldview a lot while in 9th-12th grade. Western Christian has truly helped me to understand God and His Kingdom on a deeper and more relational level. The people I’ve met here, whether they’ve been teachers or friends (by friends I mean students, though teachers are friends too :)), have been such an integral part in helping me grow my faith. I’ve gone on a few missions trips to Mexico with Western Christian, and the people that I’ve met have impacted me so much. I learned what real success is, from God’s perspective, thanks to them. These trips that Western offered also inspired me to go on another immersion trip with my church. 🙂 I recently got baptized at Western as well. Thanks to teachers such as Mr. Sperrazza, Mrs. Keys, Mr. Voortman, Ms. Blakely - the list goes on and on - I saw God through their actions and in their words, which led me to want to get baptized and establish my faith more fully. I’ve loved getting to know the people that Western brings together; where everyone comes from and their stories that I’ve been able to hear have been so incredibly meaningful to me. Being at Western has led me to love people more deeply, as Jesus would’ve.

Hello everyone! My name is Marilyn Beauvais and I would find that one word to describe my time at western would be love. Since kindergarten, I had gone to a public school. After Covid hit, my parents decided to put me in Western Christian High School. I was terrified about this change because I didn’t know anybody at the school and I was nervous that I was going to be all alone. But, from the moment I stepped on campus, I know that wasn’t true. Western truly encompasses a foundation on Jesus Christ in everything they do and it was seen so prominently that first day by me. From that moment on, I joined a community of loving, kind, caring, and Christ-following individuals who have changed my life. But, most importantly, Western allowed me to be in a place where I can grow my faith in astounding ways. Without western, I would be the person I am today.
