"For the past 30 years Western Christian has been like a family to me. As a student my life was greatly impacted by loving, caring teachers and as a teacher now I can think of no greater joy than that of working with young people who love Jesus and helping to prepare them to go minister to a needy, hurting world. I truly feel like a rich man who has been abundantly blessed by the Lord through the lives and ongoing ministry of Western Christian."
– Greg Letherer,WCS Jr. High Bible Teacher
and Western Grad '81
“Without a doubt, the most powerful influences on me at Western have been my teachers. Even more than WHAT I learned; I cherish HOW I learned and WHO taught me.They have unselfishly and passionately poured into me and I am eternally grateful! The faces and memories are too numerous— to pick a favorite leaves out too many...I love them all!”
- Carly McNeill, Alumni Class of ‘08,
attended Western from kindergarten through 12th Grade
“I love the environment here at Western. Everyone wants us to be the best that we can be, including the strongest Christians we can be. We have great chapels that help us strengthen our faith in God.”
- Alexis Egeland,

“Having Christ in every aspect of my teenage years has greatly influenced who I am today. Most teens are out there getting drunk,
using drugs and doing what they want. I have no desire to do any of those things. Thanks to Western, I have a firm foundation in which I can stand on and stay righteous through college and the rest of my life.”
- Mercedes Trejo, WCHS Senior
“By attending Western, I have become more
dedicated to following my dreams. I have had
so many people encourage me to keep doing what I love and to pursue music. The teachers have also helped me become more dedicated to my work ethic. They have prepared me for
college and have helped me to get into a great school. The chapels and Bible classes have helped me grow in my relationship with God in ways that are unimaginable.”

"I attended Western Christian High School in the mid 60's. I can specifically point to the education I received there as a pivotal point in my life. The nurturing experience (academically, athletically and spiritually) changed my life and contributed to my success. To this day, I look back with a fondness for Western Christian, its faculty and what it stands for. In this time of "diminished education" from public schools, I believe it develops students more academically and personally."
- Stephen Tange, Western Alumni 1965,
Regional Manager of CIT
“I was looking for love in all the wrong places and I got into the wrong crowd – it got me into a lot of trouble and I headed down hill, but I didn’t care. My friends were doing drugs and I didn't’ have the strength to pull away, although I didn’t personally get involved with drugs, I did follow my friends’ example of a life of crime and shoplifting. I got away with a lot, until one day, I got caught stealing. Then it hit me, my life fell apart and I decided to make a difference in my life. I enrolled at Western. I was overwhelmed by the love and compassion that I felt from the kids at school and all the teachers. They loved me unconditionally and it made me realize that my parents really did love me. I was surrounded by people that helped support me, not just academically, but spiritually and emotionally. Teachers took the time to listen to my problems – they were always available and I knew they really cared about me. I had never felt this way before. If it wasn’t for Western, I don’t know where I’d be – but now, I have a future. I am currently on the ASB Chaplain Team and helping lead small groups for chapel. Because of Western, I now plan to go to college and major in communications, perhaps specializing in sports broadcasting. I just want to do whatever God has planned for my life!”
- Brandon Dirks, WCHS ASB Chaplain Team
“This school has had a huge impact in my life. I have learned lessons that will last a lifetime."

"We grew up as children, always hearing what a great school Western was. We chose Western because of its like minded Christian values and high standards. We love the extra-curricular opportunities and the great competitive sports that have reinforced character values like perseverance, determination, and team work. I love the school so much."

"Western Christian School has been a true blessing for our family. When we were looking for a school for our child we prayed for direction and the Lord led us to Western Christian. We could not have imagined a more positive and nurturing environment for our child to learn in. Our decision in bringing our child to WCS has been reinforced by caring, love and a commitment to bringing out the best in our child. From the Principal to Teachers to Aides, everyone has gone out of their way to make us feel part of the WCS family, and we appreciate all the extra steps that have been taken to make sure that our son not only receives the best formal education, but the best social and Christian education possible. We have no doubt that Western Christian School will play an integral role in the success of our child."
- David and Rubria Wilson,

"I am one of Western Christian High School's biggest fans. Over the past few years, I have been amazed and impressed with their outstanding faculty and student body. They have an exceptional staff that continually goes the extra mile to create a Christian community where students are loved, directed, challenged, and motivated. This is the school environment you dream your teenagers will experience."
