2012 ACSI Spelling Bee

Two students from each grades 2^nd-8^th competed at the 2012 ACSI Spelling Bee at Vineyard Christian School in Anaheim on January 20. Students from 12 Christian Schools in attendance. Some grades had upwards of 40 students competing! They day for students was both fun and intense!

We are so proud of all our spellers representing WCS. They are all amazing! Ashley Munguia took 1^st Place in the 3^rd Grade competition. Shayan Nouri and Noreen Truong took 2^nd and 4^th place in the 7^th Grade competition. Shayan and Noreen went on to compete for a place at the regionals where Shayan took 5^th place overall! Congratulations. WCS is proud of all of them.

Christian Professionals’ Fellowship – you are invited!

The Bible Department at Western Christian Schools aims to be a resource to the local professional community by being the catalyst for such fellowship. To that aim, WCS has established the Christian Professionals’ Fellowship (CPF) as a place of gathering for like-spirited professionals to share practical and relevant biblical application of God’s vision for the business world.

This invitation is open to all Christian professionals. Please feel free to invite others who would like to enjoy a morning of worship and fellowship. We look forward to seeing you there.

WCHS Cheer Tryout Clinics

There will be a mandatory parent meeting Friday May 6th at 6:30pm in the High School West Building Room 204 (2nd Floor).
Teacher References are due to Mrs. Matlock by Tuesday, May 3rd.

Pastor Appreciation Day – 3/17/11

We will be honoring our pastors with a special chapel and brunch. This year’s Pastor Appreciation day will be held on our Claremont campus on Thursday, March 17^th at 9:00am. If you haven’t already done so, please submit your pastor’s information to the front office so that we can get an invitation out to them. Please join us on this very special day.
