Keeping in Touch with Moms in Touch 9/14/09

We were blessed to have the moms from “Little Western” join us today, our first prayer meeting for the shoolyear! We lifted up our children to the Lord as we prayed Psalm 119:133 “Direct my steps by Your word, and let no iniquity have dominion over me.” We prayed that our children, whether in pre-school, elementary, high school, or college will have their steps directed by God’s word and their decisions would be dominated by the Holy Spirit.

We thanked the Lord for blessing us with our new campus and asked for His continued guidance, blessing, and protection on our teachers, staff and administrators.

We will be meeting and praying together with Moms In Touch, Claremont Campus for one session every other month throughout the schoolyear. The specific dates will be posted soon.

Please join us every Monday at the Library/Media Center at 8:10 am. These times call for more fervent prayer, especially for our children!

Keeping in Touch with Moms in Touch 6/9/09

Our prayer for our children this week was based on Colossians 3:17. We prayed that whatever our children did, whether in word or in deed, that it would be done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God our Father through Him. We prayed that God would give our children the knowledge they would need in this week’s finals, as well as wisdom to know and apply God’s truth in their life.

We continued to lift up the school’s administration, staff, and teachers and asked for God’s provision and blessing in every area of their life!

Our first meeting for the next schoolyear will be on Monday, Sep 14, 2009. The location will be announced at a later date. We will continue to pray for our children and our school individually throughout the summer, and we are looking forward to what God has in store for us in the next schoolyear!

Keeping in Touch with Moms In Touch 5/18/09

Our prayer verse this week for our children was based on 2 Chronicles 16:9. We prayed that as the eyes of the Lord went to and fro throughout the whole earth, He would find the heart of our children loyal and faithful to Him. We prayed that God would show Himself strong to them as a result of their faithfulness and loyalty to Him.

We prayed for God’s hands in our move to Upland and continued wisdom for our administration. We also prayed that God would bring the right teachers to our school and that God would pour blessings on our teachers and their families for the work and the service they give to our kids.

Even if you are unable to join us on Monday mornings, please join us in prayer throughout the week as we lift up our children, our teachers and our administrators.

Keeping in Touch with Moms In Touch 3/30/09

Today at MIT we prayed Eph 6:13 for our children and for all the children at our school “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

For our school, we prayed that:

• Every student would have a face to face experience with God before they graduate from Western.
• God’s truth would inflitrate our curriculum.
• God would protect and preserve the innocence and purity of our children.
• Standing for truth is the norm and not the exception.

Today we prayed Phil 1:9-10 for our children. “And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowldedge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ.”  We prayed that our children’s love will increase in the knowledge of God’s truth and that their faith may withstand the test of trials.

For our school we prayed for :

• spiritual revival in the hearts of our students, teachers and administration
• clear direction in the upcoming months
• hope and healing for the families dealing with cancer

Keeping in Touch with Moms In Touch 3/16/09

Today we prayed that our children would love God’s word, know that it is perfect and take refuge in His shield. Our intercessory prayer was based on 2 Samuel 22:31. “As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”

We also prayed for Western Christian School in the following areas:

• for God’s perfect will to be done regarding the move to Upland
• for God to bring the right people to staff our school
• for wisdom and guidance to the teachers and administration
• for success in Kathy’s minor surgery today
• for healing and peace on our Western moms diagnosed with cancer, and our Western families dealing with tragic family issues and health problems.
• for salvation for all the students at Western. We want every child that graduates from this school to leave having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
