Dress in your favorite winter clothes! Scarves, winter beanies, & coats!

Tuesday: Santa’s Workshop
Come to school as an elf, reindeer, toy soldier, or doll!

Wednesday: Grandma’s Gifts and Sweaters
Remember those ugly mittens grandma knitted for you last year? Or that dorky Christmas sweater mom wants you to wear for family portraits? Today’s the day!

Thursday: Christmas Pajama Day!
Wear your favorite Christmas P.J.’s to school. Remember to be modest and keep the Christmas spirit!

Friday: Santa Hats and Spirit Shirts!

WC Decorates City Hall

On December 5, 2008 Western Christian High School donated and decorated a Christmas tree for City of Covina in the City Hall’s main lobby.

The star on the tree was created by Senior, Jessica Davis using papier mache and mirror tiles to create a beautiful mosaic. The snowflakes on the windows were created by various art students in Ms. Georga Garside’s art classes. ASB students Ana-Maria Antonio, Jessica Davis, Haley Holroyd, Anthony Llorens, and Amanda Mizell decorated the Christmas tree.

An official recognition of the Christmas tree donation will be made by City Council members on December 16, 2008 at 7:00p.m.

WCHS Toy Drive

Help those less fortunate this Christmas season. Bring an unwrapped toy for a local teen, and canned or non-perishable food items to your English classrooms and drop in the ASB Christmas bins. The City of Covina Rotary will be delivering the toys and food to needy families in the area.

This is a competition for the classes (Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors) who can bring in the most toys and food items! You can bring in food and toys from now until Wednesday, December 10th.
