Volleyball 2nd Round Playoffs @ Home Thurs. Nov. 11th 7pm

Last night, Western Christian Varsity Volleyball upset #1 league ranked Katella High School. After loosing the 1st match, the Lady Lancers stunned the previously 10-0 Knights winning the next three matches to take the game.

The 2nd round of CIF playoffs for Lady Lancers volleyball will be tomorrow, Thursday, November 11th at 7:00PM at home (in our gym)! Our Lady Lancers will take on Campbell Hall.

Tickets for CIF playoffs are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets can be purchased from Brianne Brown in the Attendance Office (Burton West).

To support our Lady Lancers, wear black so that we can black-out the stands!

ATTENTION HANDBELL RINGERS

The Music Department is looking for Middle School students who read music and would be interested in playing handbells in the Christmas Program. It will be an easy version of “Carol of the Bells”. Rehearsals will be as follows:

Sunday, Novemebr 14th 1:00-2:00 PM
Saturday, December 4th 4:00-5:00 PM
Saturday, December 11th 4:00-5:00 PM
Thursday, December 16th 5:45 PM

Christmas Tree, Wreath, and Garland Fundraiser, Nov. 1-22nd

Dear Parents and Students of WCS,

Your Athletic Boosters are sponsoring a fantastic fundraiser to earn money for our teams’ needs. Starting Monday, November 1st, your students will have the opportunity to sell Christmas trees, wreaths, and garlands. Please support your student and/or athlete by buying your Christmas tree from WCHS rather than a store this year. The trees are very fresh and of premium quality, and prices are very comparable. Ask your friends and neighbors too! (Please ask your student for the sales packet the week of November 1st.)

The day to pick up your tree, wreath, and/or garland will be Saturday, Dec. 4th.

WCHS Parent-Teacher Conferences Mon. Nov. 22, 2010 3:30 – 7:00pm in the Western Christian High School Gymnasium

Parent-Teacher Conferences are a wonderful opportunity to extend lines of communication between home and school. It keeps you as parents informed about your student’s progress and for developing cooperative strategies that can ultimately benefit your student.

The purpose of the Parent Teacher Conferences is to meet and greet your students teachers. We have allotted 3-5 minutes per conference for you to meet with your student’s teachers and get general information about your students performance. This is not an appointment initiated due to an issue that needs to be resolved. If you need a longer period of time to meet with a particular teacher, please schedule and appointment at your convenience by calling Mrs. Sleight in the HSE Bldg. Admin Office at 909-920-5858 ext. 253.

Plan to come between the hours of 3:30pm – 7:00pm. No sign ups required.

We are looking forward to meeting with you.
