"Western Christian School has been a true blessing for our family. When we were looking for a school for our child we prayed for direction and the Lord led us to Western Christian. We could not have imagined a more positive and nurturing environment for our child to learn in. Our decision in bringing our child to WCS has been reinforced by caring, love and a commitment to bringing out the best in our child. From the Principal to Teachers to Aides, everyone has gone out of their way to make us feel part of the WCS family, and we appreciate all the extra steps that have been taken to make sure that our son not only receives the best formal education, but the best social and Christian education possible. We have no doubt that Western Christian School will play an integral role in the success of our child."

By Jonathan Nazigian

There is a reason we don’t let 12 year-olds vote.
There is a reason we don’t let 15 year-olds join the army.
There is a reason we don’t let 13 year-olds drive.

Children are an incredible blessing from God, and we love them, but let’s face it, they are not the pinnacle of sound judgment. Ask any parent who has seen that glazed, deer-in-the-headlights look staring back at them after they’ve asked, “What were you thinking?” and you’ll know. There is a reason God did not say, “Let the child train himself up in the way he thinks he should go…” Read the rest of this entry »

I don’t know about you, but for me, as a Christian school leader, it becomes more evident each day how important it is to have our children receive a Christian education in the formative years of their lives. The media and the world continue with all their might to bombard us with secular ideology and imagery in a relentless effort to enlist us and especially our children into their camp.

At Western Christian Schools, we believe strongly in the value of Christian education in developing our students’ thinking as it relates to the world around them. We believe that this has the potential to impact their lives for eternity. We teach with intent to equip these young minds with the knowledge of the Truth and to give them the tools needed to discern all falsities through careful examination and critical thinking.

We also place great emphasis on raising the bar of excellence in our academics by providing the best curriculum and electives, and through quality instruction by a qualified and committed faculty. Our students are prepared academically not just to be proficient in their subjects, but to excel. Read the rest of this entry »
