Bible Video Projects Viewable Online

Every year Mr. Wheeler assigns his sophomore bible class students a group project where students are to create a video depicting a modern version of the parables told by Christ. The purpose of this project is to apply lessons students have learned in class about interpreting parables. Students are asked to determine the “big idea” in each parable, and then create a modern version of that story that is perfectly consistent with the big idea. In other words, they extract the truth from the parable and apply it in the context of life today.
