Western Christian Schools Home Page
"Western Christian School has been a true blessing for our family. When we were looking for a school for our child we prayed for direction and the Lord led us to Western Christian. We could not have imagined a more positive and nurturing environment for our child to learn in. Our decision in bringing our child to WCS has been reinforced by caring, love and a commitment to bringing out the best in our child. From the Principal to Teachers to Aides, everyone has gone out of their way to make us feel part of the WCS family, and we appreciate all the extra steps that have been taken to make sure that our son not only receives the best formal education, but the best social and Christian education possible. We have no doubt that Western Christian School will play an integral role in the success of our child."

Due to the overwhelming response from those who were not able to make the May 16th Open House, we have planned a second Open House opportunity for Saturday, June 6th, from 10 am to 11:30 am, at the Upland Campus. Please plan to come and tour the facility and meet our faculty and staff.

Experience God’s blessing for yourself and let this unlimited vision of the future catch your imagination and inspire you to be a part of a Christ-centered community that integrates faith and quality education.

A Special Message From The Principal

Posted on May 27th, 2009

Dear Western Christian High School Community,

It is very exciting to realize that Western Christian High School will soon experience the reality of a long delayed answer to prayer… WE ARE GOING TO UPLAND!

Western is returning to its humble place of beginnings, the place where it all began back in 1920, the City of Upland. Only God could have orchestrated such a providential journey.

My faith is exercised and enriched when I think that, after all these years of persistent effort and prayer, God would, in His timing, divinely bring two ministries together to unify and strengthen His purpose for Upland and Western. The ministry will now reach from Pasadena to Fontana and the areas in between.

It has not been an easy road, nor will it come free from cost. During these difficult and trying times, all of us have been asked to partner together for just such a time as this!

Spring Sports Update 5/19/09

Posted on May 19th, 2009

Track and Field athletes Caleb Meister (Junior) and Harry Cho (Junior) competed at the CIF Prelims on Saturday. Caleb ran a 4:59, and came back later in the day to PR by 13 seconds and ran a 10:50 in the 2 mile. Harry finished 18th in the long jump competition. He ran a solid 100 meters running an 11.36. It was a great start and he was leading his heat, but got caught down the stretch and finished I believe 3rd which was good for 15th overall. He ended up being the second best finisher in our league on the day.

Varsity Baseball wrapped up a Back-to-Back League Championship last week. This is the programs third league title in four years after winning their first ever in 2006. The Lancers go into the post season with a #9 ranking and will play on Friday May 22nd at Citrus College at 3:15P.

Golfer Michael Broad shot an amazing one over par on day two of the League Golf Finals. The performance moved him to a 5th place finish in league and just out of reach of qualifying for the CIF Finals. Head Coach David Mylar said, “It was so fun to watch him play that round. He was flawless. I wanted to coach him up, but did not say a word to him so we did not break his rhythm and focus.”
