On Friday, March 27 the French students had a “taste of French culture” at La Vie en Rose restaurant in Brea.

The hors-d’œuvre included paté, served with the traditional cornichons, and escargots – the best part is dipping the bread in the garlic/butter sauce – miam! miam! Then came the entrée, Caesar salad or French onion soup, followed by their choice of tilapia with a beurre blanc sauce, chicken crêpe, or a steak with béarnaise sauce. What French meal would be complete without an exquisite dessert, and what could be better than crème brûlée or a tarte tatin?
By all reports, everything was délicieux and amusant!
