Keeping in Touch with Moms In Touch 3/30/09

Posted on March 31st, 2009

Today at MIT we prayed Eph 6:13 for our children and for all the children at our school “Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

For our school, we prayed that:

  • Every student would have a face to face experience with God before they graduate from Western.
  • God’s truth would inflitrate our curriculum.
  • God would protect and preserve the innocence and purity of our children.
  • Standing for truth is the norm and not the exception.

God Bless,

Jessica

Transportation Survey

Posted on March 30th, 2009

If you have not yet had a chance, please fill out our transportation survey located here, so that we can best plan our bus routes for next year. It is very important for us to know who is or is not planning to use our free busing service for next year.  We will be accepting survey results until April 9, 2009.  We understand that the move to Upland is a significant change for our families and we want to be able to serve you as effectively as possible. Your input is extremely valuable.  Thank you for your continued prayers and your assistance regarding this matter.

Superintendent’s Update 3/27/09

Posted on March 30th, 2009

Update on Upland Christian:

  1. Escrow is moving forward positively with final process and with our financing.  As we have indicated in previous communication bulletins and parent meetings, it is a lengthy process to purchase church property, because of the due diligence process, as well as complications with the involvement of several organizations (a church, denominational school district, and Western).   As shared previously, additional issues that have played into the time frame were the legal issues that were resolved and the National banking issues, in addition to the long process of receiving non-profit bond funds.  We appreciate your continued prayers and support throughout this process.  We look forward to the positive results of owning our own high school campus.
