Cross Country and Track and Field in Good Hands with Sean Henning

Covina, CA After conducting interviews last Friday Western Christian hired Sean Henning to take over the Cross Country program and to revitalize the Track and Field program.  Coach Henning comes to Western Christian from Azusa Pacific University where he ran Cross Country as well as the 5K, 10K, and Marathon in the most prestigious NAIA program in the nation.  Read the rest of this entry »

New Football Coach Looking Establish Longevity and Tradition

Covina, CA In the spring Western Christian hired new Head Football Coach Rob Castaneda to take over and revitalize the once prominent Lancer program.  Coach Castaneda comes to the Lancers with 23 years of coaching experience in the San Gabriel Valley along with three C.I.F. title rings.  His latest ring came last season as one of the Offensive Coordinators at local power St. Paul High School.  In those 23 years he has coached in just about every capacity possible.  He also works as a personal quarterbacks and receivers trainer on the side.  Read the rest of this entry »
