“Dare to Care for Haiti”
In response to the earthquake in Haiti, Western Christian ASB challenged students to raise funds with the incentive of seeing teachers participate in humiliating and humorous acts if students met their fund-raising goal. On Friday, March 26th, the students’ efforts provided for a great show at the “Dare to Care for Haiti” rally.
The student body raised $1,000.85 for Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization, to help with their aid to the victims of the earthquakes in Haiti. Samaritan’s Purse has been on the ground in Haiti coordinating and providing medical care, food, water and shelter for victims of the devastating earthquakes in January.
